Our history
Theatre West was founded by Wayne West after having changed its name from
Pegasus Performing Arts, The company began as an amateur production company, and
enjoyed early success touring the island of Montreal with fairy tale productions
for very young children.
After sold out productions of "Beauty and the Beast" ; "Aladdin"
; and "Sleeping Beauty"; it had gained the interest needed - and he opened the
school in the fall of 1993. Now each year, over 250 students participate in
Annual and Summer Camp programs held by Theatre West.
Pegasus
(Theatre West) is an experience that truly changed my life. It's a place where
you can express yourself freely. I have met some wonderful people during my 10
years at Pegasus and we of course, all share a special bond. I am so thankful
and I know that anyone that chooses to enroll will not be let down.
